Hi! I’m Angelica and I use the alias Amirine for my crafting projects. I live in the Netherlands and share my home with my cat Dalischa. Crafting things while drinking tea and having my cat walk over my fabric is my passion. Usually I make costumes for myself, but sometimes I do commissions as well.
Sewing and embroidering are two of my passions and I love to share bits and pieces of my knowledge. I am self-taught and I think many people can learn how to sew or embroider. Occasionally, I make cosplay props from foam too and I will share my knowledge on that as well. I have worked for a cosplay material company before, where I provided customers with advice and materials for their projects.
Since I loved doing that, I decided to continue doing that online. The costume below really needed me to be creative: I used wood, clay, foam, thermoplastic (worbla), tubing, elastic band, beads, snaps and more to het the most accurate props and accessories I could make.
Achievements
When looking for a judge or guest I can imagine, you would like to invite someone who knows their stuff. Awards and achievements can be a good indicator for this, so in that light I would like to share some achievements:
- Winner in the solo category of Nishicon 2018
- Runner-up for the WCS 2021 video competition
