Blog update time!
I hope you are doing well. It’s April, and that means I will be preparing for Elfia Haarzuilens. It’s been quite a while since my last visit to this event, as I often struggled with how I felt about it afterwards. I have had times that I was more of a living statue and sniped by photographers all day long or being pushed around, which is not why I am attending. For Elfia, I want to enjoy good food, the nice atmosphere and meet new people. But the mentioned negatives have actively prevented me from doing this.
However, this time I will be attending with friends and I will be walking around as my own designed character. Maybe that will make the experience more enjoyable? Only one way to find out! My costume will look like this drawing:

I managed to make most of this outfit between Christmas and New Year’s. So it has been laying around for a bit, which is definetly a more relaxed approach to it all. My goals this event are to: eat something tasty, maybe do some archery and very maybe buy mead or something pretty? I am no drinker of alcohol, but I wonder what mead tastes like and a souvenir from fun times is also nice to have.
