If you have read my previous post, you know that I am partcipating in the Gameforce E2C prelims. When I got the forms in, I decided to make things easier for myself and share the updated/improved files on this website under tutorials. Why? Like many competitions, the same Powerpoint files is used for the buildbook and the Word document for the script is similar too. But also: the stageplan was drawn out of scale and that hinders me with both prop planning and visualising, as I lack depth-vision. The stageplans I have uploaded on this site are made to scale and include a raster for easier prop planning. For now, I have done this for the Abunai!con, Animecon and Gameforce stageplans.
Sometimes, being annoyed is a great motivator to improve things for everyone. Hope it helps you, if you are starting out as a competitive cosplayer or as a “veteran”. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions regarding these files/competitions.
