This Fern dress was sent to me as appearing in a shop video and at first I could only find a snippet of a second in which it was featured. It did immediately make me very happy and I haven’t made a neo-classical/regency inspired dress before, but this looked like the perfect challenge! (Also, I am weak for shades of purple. :D) I will be adding lots of lace and satin flowers.
The sleeves looked like a sensory issue, but since I’m making it myself, I do have some control in this. It also gave me the chance to use the dance dress wig again and make embroidered flowers. I designed the embroidery on the bodice myself and I am very proud of that! 🙂 I hope to shoot this dress with lots of flowers, maybe a big garden or a fancy castle.
