Hi everyone!
Time for the bi-monthly update on my projects again. 🙂
Let’s start off with my slow long-term project: Malzeno armor from Monster Hunter Rise and props. I really wanted to get some work done on the palico, but somehow I lost my contact cement. So no mentionable progress there, sadly. So instead, I worked on the Cohoot plushie that I wanted to make with my Malzeno armor as well and that one is fluffy and finished!
I did make patterns for the bootcovers of the Malzeno armor, so I can make a start on those soon. I’m scared and excited, so I just have to pull through. 🙂
And Fern! Fern’s base outfit is done and I wore her to the castle ruins photoshoot. But I knew I wanted to improve/replace some things. The bootcovers have been re-made and a new wig has been styled, so she’s more to my liking. I also learned some Blender and got the files for her hairpin and bracelet ready for printing. But I am not feeling okay with letting go of her yet, so I decided that I will make her winter outfit too! Which is a bit easier, now I have made her bootcovers, wig, a stand-in hairpin and staff already. (And I have some fabrics that are perfect for the scarf and fur borders. Time to use scraps!)
Also, this month, I will attend RINcon on the 7th. I have no idea yet on if I will like it, as it is my first time attending. I will be wearing Fern (of course). So say hi if you see me!
