I’m getting back to my normal, more relaxed posting schedule. The past summer was a bit wild with neat stuff I collected and wanted to share, but we’re in autumn now and work is claiming more time. So bi-monthly updates are back. 🙂

Fern’s winter outfit – Sousou no Frieren
Fern’s winter outfit got some extra stuff: I sewed leggings for under all those layers and I got Frieren socks from Bershka to make the look complete. (Nope, no one will ever see those socks when I am wearing Fern.) Decided that I had to remake the bootcovers again, because the old ones were damaged… I’m just never satisfied with my versions of Fern, I guess. 😛
I practised the skit and am (not) ready to participate in the competition at Gameforce. I keep wondering if the audience will like my skit… So yeah, I will be at Gameforce, Saturday only! Will make a seperate post later. 🙂 - Fern’s dance dress outfit is almost completely finished.
Fern”s dance dress – Sousou no Frieren
The dress is made, the shoes have been modified, and the long gloves are done. The gloves are made in two parts, so I can do a dress change-act, if I ever want to. Also, there is a start on the wig, but I am not too comfortable with wig styling yet. I want to sit down for that and take my time, so no progress there. The hairpin is ready and waiting to be put in place. Maybe I can finish this one before the end of October?
- Taliah’s horns progressed slower than anticipated, but they are finished and so is the rest of her outfit. She’s ready to be worn at RINcon!
- Next project to work on will be picking up Star Guardian Seraphine again or slowly working on Malzeno from Monster Hunter. Finishing some stuff is a solid plan, but sometimes I struggle. 🙁 I think I’ll go for Seraphine, because I have a lot of materials for her already and even done some sewing.
Other stuff
- There are new business cards! After almost ten years I finally redesigned my business cards and ordered them. And to celebrate that, I have made a limited amount of mini mimics to hand out the first cards in. Each mimic has a unique look and surprise. I’ll hand them out for the first time at Gameforce, so find me there!
- At the end of October, I will be joining a Frieren group photoshoot. No clue which Fern I will bring, but I have options :D.
- At the beginning of November, I will be joining a cosplay photoshoot with a Frieren theme again.
- I’m working on another International Cosplay Photoshoot!
So a lot of Frieren/Fern content coming up. 🙂 I absolutely lost myself in that series, but I am ready to make other stuff again.
