Hiya!
Welcome to my first blog post of 2023! I wish you all the best for this year. <3
The year is already a bit underway and I haven’t been sitting still. As always, I get a creative boost around Christmas. A few days off and few appointments help me getting really creative. Let me list the things I did:
-Worked on Caitlyn: her shirt-top is ready now, just as her pants, wig, police-badge and gloves.
-Made a cosplay of Taliah, my DnD Satyr. I will upload some pictures once I have those. It was a fun project to get rid of some scrap fabric.
-Had a photoshoot as Indie Seraphine from League of Legends.
-Cleaned out my fabric workshop: tossed old fabrics, organised and labeled boxes, got an extra cabinet and organised most drawers of my sewing desk as well.
-Cleaned and renovated the foam workshop/basement: painted the walls and ceiling, cleaned out old stuff, organised paints, made shelves and discussed further upgrades with my dad.
There is some more I did that I can not yet share as it is a surprise for a couple of friends of mine. But once it is done and gifted, I will share that here as well.
Writing this all out really matches my feeling of having accompliced a lot. And I decided to tone it down a little, but I will make a new cosplay soon. With quite a few coincidences happening after each other, I decided that I will remake Gwendolyn’s dress from Odin Sphere.
