Halloween Fern – Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
Hi everyone,
2025 is off to a weird start for me, because 2024 ended weirdly too. It’s a few of those changes in life that you just have to accept and move on with. Nothing new really. So I am working hard on cosplay stuff to distract myself and moving on. 🙂 Let’s grab that list from last blog post and update it:
- Star Guardian Seraphine (League of Legends) is finished! Took me a few years with some breaks, but she’s ready for a big photoshoot with other Star Guardian cosplayers!
- 2B Bride (Nier: Automata fanart) is ready for a photoshoot. Now I just need to find a photographer I trust with this task. She’s very much outside my comfort zone, so I need to rely on someone up to it.
- Fern’s (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) alternative outfit/”OC” is on hold for now, because I want to focus on the Animecon competition. I might pick it up later, but I decided to work on Halloween Fern first. I found a lot of fabrics already and the patterns aren’t difficult to draft myself. I just want this one ready in time to have a Halloween shoot this year. 🙂 Just wondering how the charms on her side work, but as the image isn’t clear, I feel like I can decide how I want it to be.
- And because I have to keep my hands and mind busy, I started with a Hatsune Miku (Synchronicity) cosplay.

I had a lot of scraps that would work for her and I got inspired to do it, so off I went into my fabric stash and dug up several metres of fabric, some old mask, a few beads and went to work. She’s far from finished, but that’s more than okay. She’s gonna be a project to entertain my past teen me. 🙂
Also, I’m setting up a new photoshoot with a group again! Very excited about this too. 🙂 I’m intending to bring older costumes to this shoot, so I can finally get some pictures and sell those cosplays. One of those is Titania Asuna, which I created just before covid hit. She has just been in my closet for years now. 🙁 The thing I am mostly looking forward to is hanging with friends and making new ones.
