Hi everyone!
It’s August and in the past that meant I was working hard for Abunai!con. This year, I am not! Even though my idea of a cosplay ball in the main stage (with, in my proposal: slow music, ambient background behind the DJ, simple big decorations and a dance teacher to introduce the attendees to dancing like this) has suddenly appeared on the programme. I’m just disappointed that they once again, took an idea of mine and presented it as their own without notifying or thanking me. My year’s theme seems to be a lack of recognition of my ideas. Despite all: I hope you enjoy the ball! I still like the idea. 🙂
And with complaining done, let’s move on to the present!

These months I will go to Viencon, attend a photoshoot in Germany, host a photoshoot in Groningen and prepare another lecture.
I have no planning for Viencon. Maybe Titania Asuna? Prestige Ocean Song Seraphine? Something else I have ready to go? I think I’ll just see what the weather is around then to make a decision. 🙂
The photoshoot in Germany has decided costumes: Fern’s dance dress and Gwendolyn’s dress. Any guesses what kind of location we’ll be going to? Hint: it’s gorgeous!
And the shoot in Groningen will see the debut of Shenhe and maaaaaybe the FFXIV Theophany set. I’m just keeping options open for that one.
The lecture is still being discussed, but if anything changes, that’s okay. This party has been very open with me and I love that. (And them for that.) I’m busy preparing stuff anyway, because if it goes through, I want it to be a good lecture. One that the attendees feel like was useful and fun! When I get more info, I’ll post an update here. And on Instagram, I think.
Let’s get to the project overview:
- Synchronicity Miku, Vocaloid: finished! Elizani made some resin gems for the headpieces and helped with adding some stuff to the leggings. Which means she’s finished!
- Theophany set, FFXIV: Done! The costume part I’m not sure about making a staff, so that’s a who knows.
- Malzeno set, Monster Hunter Rise: I worked on the gloves and bracers. These are almost finished now! Up next is a new bodysuit, as the first one wasn’t a nice fit. And adjustments to the leather under armor, as my body got stronger and thus shaped differently. If I feel like it, I might start on a weapon too. Possibly the Sword and Shield from the Gold Rathian monster with some special effects.
There’s plenty to do and I don’t want to mope around. I wanna do more photoshoots! Write more tutorials! Give more lectures! Let’s go!
Also October is going to be very busy for me with cosplay and I am looking forward to it!
